South Holland in Motion
After the success of our first project 'Sense in Motion', we -Adults Move Lincolnshire and Diamondz School of Dance - wanted to take our project further and reach more people with additional needs and disabilities.

Introducing 'South Holland in Motion', a dance/movement project in collaboration with Diamondz School of Dance, fully funded by LOV, Esmee Fairbairn foundation and Paul Hamlyn foundation. This project aims to create an accessible dance project that brings the joy of dance to people with disabilities and those with access needs, in South Holland.

"Our professional team, couple with the support of local organisations, will work together to enable participants to express themselves through creative movements and bring communities closer together.
We are committed to promoting inclusivity, accessibility and diversity. We are confident that our dance project can help to break down barriers to access and participation of dance for disabled people and people with access needs"

South Holland in Motion involves the development of four dance creation projects across for weeks from four different day centres/residential homes and organisations that work with individuals with additional needs and disabilities. The project will end in a sharing session where each group will present their dance piece.

Across the time of the project, we will be providing four pop-ip sensory dance classes to reach more people, giving each group promotional material regarding groups we know run accessible, creative and social activities, including the South Holland Centre.

Organisations taking part in the dance creations: The Chappell Centre, Vision Day Support and Little Miracles.
